August 23, 2015 – A friend’s husband set up the ultimate photobomb! Family portraits were the perfect cover for the big surprise for her 40th birthday! Good job all!

Her darling niece and nephew were baptised this morning, so the family came to Doyle Park for “family photos” with me!  Unbeknownst to the auntie in the middle, there are over 100 people down in the creek behind her, just waiting…… 

for the signal from my sweet hubby (who pretended he was posting a sneak peek to my business page on Facebook) but was really texting everyone to come up SILENTLY.

They did an amazing job being quiet.  I started getting nervous though, they would be found out if I didn’t do SOMETHING to mask their feet….. 

So, we began to sing “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” to get the no-nap toddler re-engaged with photos.  Whew… that worked, and then we switched to “Happy Birthday” since auntie had just turned 40….. at which point….. 

Everyone joined into the song…… And this happened!!  SURPRISE!

Good job everyone, she had NO idea this was coming.

August 13, 2015 – Happiness is: family, friends, food, and fun! Thanks to Heidi and Brian for hosting another visit and allowing me to meet your family and capture some images of the kids while they were visiting sunny California!

August 13, 2015 – Loved shooting at the Oakmont Golf Course last week; this awesome family supported the local Rotary Club by purchasing my donated session, so happy to capture their light!

July 29, 2015 – So much fun chasing these two around at Irish Beach. Love hanging out with my family. Darling niece and nephew, great to see the family when they visit!

June 24, 2015 – 10 years after our wedding, we decided to camp on Angel Island.  We backpacked! (ok, only 2.5 mile hike, but still!) I roughed it!

This guy followed our ferry to the island.  Crystal clear skies, beautiful day!

Sunset was beautiful, but we were on the wrong side of the island to get the best views.

Our campsite looked out over the bay, we could see the bay bridge, and hear the noise of a busy port (all night long).

July 28, 2015 – Favorite images from our camping trip to Lassen National Park. Looking forward to returning again for more hikes, and to the peak again. What an amazing place.

July 20, 2015 – A delightful evening with a wonderful family. The light was amazing, both from the sun, and from the family unity.
